Cordova Park Apartments offer 80 units of rent-subsidized housing for persons who are either 62 years or older, handicapped or disabled. Households must meet income limits to qualify for housing. Our facility is beautifully situated on 5 private acres in the rural Walker county town of Cordova, Alabama. One and two bedroom units are available. Included in the monthly rental rate are these utilities: electricity, water and sewage, and garbage collection. These units are totally electric and offer central heat and air-conditioning. Draperies, ranges and refrigerators are provided. All units are ground floor with private patios, and are equipped with bathroom grab-bars. Some apartments are wheel-chair accessible, with an accessible route through out the property. The manager's office, recreation room and laundry room are on-site. The property offers maintenance-free living, with 24 hour emergency maintenance service.
Warrior River Apartments are located near the banks of the beautiful Black Warrior River in Cordova, Alabama. Our spacious one, two and three bedroom apartments are perfect for families just starting out or just starting over. Central heating and air conditioning, totally electric living and kitchen appliances are just some of the amenities. The site provides off-street parking, a laundry room and play ground and on-site Caretaker. Rents are income-based, and households can qualify for Section 8 assistance for affordable rent, or rent at an affordable below market rate. The garbage collection and water and sewage fees are included in the monthly rent.
